I have attached videos of both with porch being the smooth and left being the choppy. I have checked that both cameras have the exact same settings to the point I deleted the choppy one and cloned the smooth playing one and it still plays choppy. The crazy thing is I can look at them in the Night Owl DVR software and they both play fine, but in BI the one is "choppy". I bought this surveillance system a few months ago and have been on the phone with their customer support in China a lot. Both cameras are exactly the same and bought at the same time and came in the same package. ![]() I have one the porch that plays motion excellent both in live and recorded views. A car can drive by and you can see the car moving and then it disappears and comes back and then it will disappear and then be behind where it was and so forth till it finally makes it out of camera. Your recorder begins updating the firmware. Choose the location for the recorder to access the new firmware and click Submit or Upgrade. I have a total of 8 cameras that came with a night owl DVR. If your Night Owl camera isn’t working, it might be a power issue, an app pairing issue, or a Wi-Fi connectivity issue. Uninstall and reinstall the Night Owl X / X HD App and check if the issue still happens. Turn the device back on and reopen the Night Owl X / X HD App. ![]() This is a very weird issue in that I have the cameras in Blue Iris with no issue. If the device doesn't have a removable battery, press and hold the power button and volume down button for up to 15 seconds until the device resets.
